Scientists Revive Worms Frozen for 42,000 Years

Worms frozen in permafrost for 42,000 years were revived by Russian scientists according to a study just released online. The roundworms were slowly thawed out over several weeks and eventually showed signs of life. They could even move around and eat after awhile. The worms survived thanks to being cryogenically frozen in permafrost. Several companies now offer the same cryogenic services for humans, with promises of similar future revival.
